The Affect of Global Warming
Scientists have been talking about climate change affecting the arctic for years. ice caps are melting, tempatures are growing, and sea levels are rising. Temperatures in the arctic are raising twice as fast to the rest of the world climate. The temp. rise is causing the ice to melt and the sea to rise wich is very bad for polar bears.
Polar bears have several layers of fur and blubber to protect them from the freezing arctic. As the temp. gets higher and higher the polar bears, from my knowlege, aren't going to be able to survive. These tempuratures are going to cause the bears to over heat, become dehydrated and die. I also believe that with the ice melting all around them they won't have any shelter or anything to walk and hunt on. They will have to swim till they find ice wich wont happen because the ice is gone. This means that the bear will eventually become exhausted and drowned. So either way you look at this the polar bears have little to no chance of surviving global warming.
